The State of Arizona Department of Real Estate manages the licensing of Real Estate Agents and Brokers. Both designations require that the applicant complete at least 93 hours of Classroom Instruction, multiple tests, two Final Exams and two Licensing Exams. Additionally, a Real Estate Broker must have at least three years expereince as a Real Estate Agent.
The National Asspciation of Realtors recognizes the experience, knowledge and success of their members by awarding certain Desginations and Certifications. Each of the designations below require classroom study and testing, while five of them (CRS, ABR, ASR, CLHMS & MRE) require certain levels of experience and completed sales. Membership in the Master of Real Estate Society, a designation shared by fewer than 1% of Realtors Nationwide, requires extensive experience and education, and recertification is required every two years. | ||||||||||||||
